Description

Adventure Summary

The purpose of the position is to support the development and execution of effective internal communications strategies, plans and deliverables that drive employee engagement and adoption of large-scale organizational transformation, inclusive of process changes and technology deployments. You will partner closely with internal communications and change management leads, as well as subject matter experts.

 

What You Will Do

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Connects our people to our purpose by bringing our values to life
  • Communicates about products and initiatives to internal customers
  • Elevates the employee experience
  • Responsible for ensuring successful awareness and adoption of large-scale transformation initiatives to the entire company
  • Cross-functional role, working alongside the Public Relations and Culture teams
  • Work with partners in developing and leading large-scale, innovative, multi-phased internal communications campaigns
  • Coordinate efforts across our Culture and PR teams—from editorial, to design, and more—to help our people navigate high-impact transformation.
  • Super passionate about employee communication, engagement, and experience
  • A trusted advisor to our internal partners and help them optimally reach the right audience, with the right message, at the right time, through the right channels.
  • Views employees not as employees, but as our company’s first customers
  • Internal marketers, always looking for exciting, novel ways to reach our people, particularly when it comes to making complex topics simple and intuitive.
  • Interacts with employees online and on the floor and seeks to learn their stories.
  • Solicits employee feedback on company efforts and communications.
  • Constructs various forms of communication at all levels of the organization
  • Creates communications materials for executives, including writing emails and scripts
  • Directs videos for internal communications
  • Learns how employees want to be communicated with
  • Proactively researches company efforts, strategy, and goals to communicate to the rest of the organization
  • Spins stories into reality
  • Tells the story of Brownells to its employees
