Share Email Opening Title Psychiatric Emergency Support Specialist - PESP  Description Seeking to hire a Full Time Psychiatric Emergency Support Specialist for PESP Job summary Monitoring and supervision of patients in the Screening Center Provide crisis outreach Answering crisis hotline Assessment under the supervision of a Certified Mental Health Screener Crisis intervention counseling; on and off site Conduct Bed Search for involuntary clients Arranging for a consumer's discharge or transfer out of the screening service Determining whether the consumer has executed an Advance Directive for Mental Health Care Arranging for a consumer's appropriate transport to a receiving facility Required to work various schedules; comprised of day, evening, overnight and weekend hours. Qualifications MA degree in a Mental Health related field OR Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Mental Health discipline and 2 + years' experience in a psychiatric setting Must have the ability to handle crisis situations, in a fast-paced environment Possess a valid driver's license and must be insurable under Agency's automobile insurance policy CPNJ embraces a culture of diversity and inclusion in all of it policies and procedures.
