The Assistant Front Office Manager provides leadership, guidance, and direction to the Housekeeping, EVS and Front Office team, as scheduled on a rotating basis.

In the absence of the Executive Housekeeper, the Assistant Front Office Manager ensures that the quality and cleanliness of the hotel through supervision of all Housekeeping & EVS team members. This position oversees inventory of supplies, work assignments, training, audits and inspections for Housekeeping and EVS.

In the absence of the Front Office Manager and Guest Services Manager, oversees Front Office and Guest Services, taking on the role of manager on duty.

This position will require availability to work varied shifts including weekends, evenings, and holidays. Responsibilities include exhibiting excellence in cultivating the guest and team experience and succeed in the translation and execution of the Edgewood vision, Mission and Values.

Position Requirements

The ideal candidate is a seasoned and highly effective Housekeeping/EVS professional with outstanding management skills and extensive hands-on experience in Housekeeping/EVS/Front Office.

  • Exceptional communications skills and commitment to providing excellent service to guests.
  • Available to work when needed, including weekends, holidays, and nights.
  • This position may require extended periods of standing including the entire course of a shift
  • Well-developed communication and customer relations skills.
  • Highly organized, results-oriented with the ability to be flexible and work well under pressure.
  • Must have a minimum of 2-3 years’ work experience as an Assistant Manager in hotel operations or comparable experience.
