Office Clerk needed for contract support at the USDA-NRCS service center office.
Duties: To provide administrative assistance to the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS).
Assist NRCS Compliance Staff with filing/scanning/uploading program and land compliance documentation, updating compliance database, and archiving files. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite required. Ability to utilize e-mail and internet browsers.
Assist with creating map indexes of field or tract locations for land determinations. Must be able to work in ArcGIS mapping software and capable of working independently. Develop a working knowledge of additional agency software and assist with general office tasks. Training is provided.
Additional duties as assigned dependent on local workload.
Requirements:
Functional knowledge of MS Word and Excel
Experience with creating pdfs and jpgs
Experience with utilizing online document management systems
Customer Service experience
Detail oriented
Work independently and with others
Effectively organize workload and meet deadlines
Strong Telephone and Interpersonal skills
