Share Email Opening Title 2nd Shift Manufacturing Supervisor  Description ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Drives execution in the factory as a support function and resource for assigned business unit team Execution of scheduled work by managing productivity and sequencing of work in respective areas/work cells Production employee management Cross training Build Quality Performance Management Directs and sets priorities for Manufacturing floor by prioritizing production schedules based on product introduction, equipment efficiency, and materials supply Directs the development and implementation of activities in production area(s) to meet production goals, quality, and cost objectives Control and manage WIP throughout the factory Makes budgetary recommendations and at higher levels, controls capital expenditures and direct/indirect labor Develops schedules and manpower requirements for assigned areas Proficient in Lean Manufacturing Techniques Identify risks to schedule and revenue target Strives to reduce expenses and productivity across all product lines Establish workflow policies that enhance speed and efficiency without compromising product safety or integrity TALENT ACQUISITION: Maintains staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees, developing personal growth opportunities. Accomplishes manufacturing staff results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function. Must be able to support standard 2nd shift hours: Monday – Friday, 2pm – 10:30pm; additional support before and/or after standard hours, and on weekends, may be required to satisfy business needs.
