Share Email Opening Title Contracts Coordinator 1 (2021-076)  Astronics Subsidiary Astronics AES   Location Kirkland, WA   Description JOB SUMMARY The Contracts Coordinator will process sales orders for materials or merchandise from customers and sales staff. This position will follow the order from placement to delivery and verify orders for accurate price, parts, and quantity. The Contracts Coordinator will keep records for sales including order status, shipping dates, availability, and back orders while maintaining the sales order log and associated documents. This role will work with other departments to resolve semi-routine customer order problems and may be responsible for a specific territory, product, or customer. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Provide support to Contracts and Program Management teams. Prepare shipping documents and invoices as required by contract requirement and/or company policy. Filing, invoicing, sales order file maintenance, distribution of shipping documents, and maintaining customer matrix. Respond to customers (internal and external) regarding specific requests including quotes, product information, order status and proof of delivery. Provide professional guidance to manufacturing, test, production control, and materiel as it relates to spares and/or customer returns for repair. Perform other duties as assigned. This position may require knowledge of SOX / 404 internal audit controls and related documentation.   Position Requirements MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Education/Experience: High School diploma or GED required. Prefer a minimum of 1-year direct experience related to the essential functions of this job. Experience with the following would be highly desired: Organizational skills Filing, invoicing, and working with sales orders Distribution of shipping documents Customer service ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS Must be a US Person (under ITAR rules) to be eligible.
