Share Email Opening Title PHYSICAL THERAPIST - 4281  Description POSITION SUMMARY: The Physical Therapist provides a full-range of physical therapy evaluation methods and treatment interventions including administration of physical modalities. Assists with the administrative functions of the physical therapy department as needed including attending assigned meetings, adjusting patient schedules, participating in supply inventory/ordering, and participating in quality improvement. SCOPE OF WORK: This position is located within the Physical Therapy Department of the Tohono O’odham Nation Sells Hospital, located in Sells, Arizona.   Position Requirements Minimum Qualifications: Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from a Commission on Accreditation in Physical TherapyEducation. Licenses, Certifications, Special Requirements: Must possess a current, active and unrestricted Physical Therapy licensure from the Commission onAccreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE). Must have current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification with AED. Upon recommendation for hire, a criminal background and fingerprint check is required to determinesuitability for hire. Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license, (no DUIs or major traffic citations within the last threeyears). Must submit a 39-month driving record with the employment application. Must meet the Tohono O’odham Nation tribal employer’s insurance requirements to receive a driver’spermit to operate program vehicles.
