The Nurse Manager: Ensures the delivery of high quality resident services that meet the health and daily living service needs and desires of residents and their families. Demonstrates tact, sensitivity, and professionalism due to constant interaction with residents and families to guarantee their satisfaction. Maintains on-going communication and coordinate care with advisory physicians, pharmacies, labs, home health, and other service providers to ensure resident needs are met. Manages medication system and ensure accurate resident medication administration. Manages and reviews nursing and caregiver staff performance. Implements nursing policies and procedures. Set nursing protocols at the facility level as needed. Provides in-service training to staff on assessments, treatments, and nursing care.
