We are seeking an Acquisition Logistician to join our team in Washington, DC. The ideal candidate will:   Draft / update the Life Cycle Sustainment Plans.  Assist with drafting Statement of Work, Data Requirement Lists, and other acquisition documents as needed for ship acquisition projects in accordance with the IAW DoD Inst 5000.02.  Manage a time line for meeting milestone and gate review logistics documentation requirements. Assist in the planning, preparation, and conduct of Independent Logistics Assessments (ILAs) for each phase of the USN/FMS ship, craft and boat program(s) and assist in the resolution of all findings and issues as tasked for Major Defense Acquisition Programs (MDAP) as needed. Draft / update the LCSPs and other acquisition documents. Assist with managing each ship class’ Independent Logistics Assessment.     Position Requirements Required Education, Skills and Experience: BS or BA degree from an accredited institution.  7 - 10 years of Navy logistics experience. Expertise in Navy acquisition logistics documentation development. Experience writing/developing Lifecycle Sustainment Plans and other programmatic acquisition documentation. Technical background with logistics experience and knowledge of data requirement lists, statement of work, ship specifications, technical manuals and defense logistics acronyms. Knowledge of Integrated Logistics Support products. Proficiency with Microsoft Suite: Word, Excel, Power Point as well as Adobe Acrobat  An active Secret security clearance. US citizenship is a prerequisite.   Some TCG customers require individuals providing support to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 in accordance with Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommendations.
