Internship Summary:
Interns will learn proper organization of the clerks office functions, general clerks duties to include filing, customer service, citation entry, preparation for audits and needs, and a general overview of the criminal justice judicial system.
Essential Functions:
The following duties are normal for this position. The omission of specific statements of the duties does not exclude them from the classification if the work is similar, related, or a logical assignment for this classification. Other duties may be required and assigned.
- Case Audits and organization,
- Creation of a new filing system,
- Overview and understanding of the Clerks office data system,
- Cleanup of backlogged data system due to COVID,
- Creation of newly established Parking Citation program,
- Creation of Record keeping data (finance reports, funds report since 2017),
- Court transcription overview and Mass mailing project.
