POSITION SUMMARY: Moravian University invites applications for adjunct instructors to teach courses in specialized areas of application in finance in the Economics and Business Department. Positions are available for the academic year beginning Spring 2022 in the Master of Business Administration and Master of Science in Data Analytics programs teaching courses in the field of Quantitative Finance. Areas of knowledge in this course includes: accessing financial data, understanding financial assets and markets, exploratory financial data analysis, statistical models and inference, asset valuation, stochastic processes, volatility, time series data and methods of analysis including ARIMA, ARCH and GARCH models, Vector Autoregression models, simulation modeling including backtesting, portfolio analysis, derivatives and risk analysis including Value-at-Risk (VaR) and other related topics. Strong R and Excel skills. Courses may be taught online or in-person.

QUALIFICATIONS: Successful applicants will at least hold a master's degree in finance, economics, or a closely related field from a regionally accredited college or university at the time of appointment; a PhD is preferred. Professional work experience in applying finance is required.
The Master's of Business Administration (MBA) program develops leaders with the skills and adaptability to manage complex, diverse, and fast-changing situations in today's business world.
