The Southeast Michigan Community Alliance (SEMCA) Workforce Intelligence Network (WIN) Division represents a collaborative of ten community colleges and seven workforce development boards in southeast Michigan and the capital area. The WIN workforce collaborative has been recognized as one of the top performers in the nation on large, multi-year workforce training grants. WIN recently received several new multi-year federal grants and will hire an Economic Research Analyst that is enthusiastic about working with community college and Michigan Works! as a lead analyst for workforce-related research content communication, specialized data requests, and other projects related to Michigan’s economy, the workforce development system, higher education, and other assigned duties. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
All SEMCA team members are expected to be technically competent and committed to continuous development of their skills. The following skills, knowledge and education or certifications are specifically required for this position:
Duties require sufficient mobility to work in a normal office setting and use standard office equipment including a computer, vision to read printed materials on an LCD screen and smartphone, hearing and speech sufficient to communicate in person and over the telephone.
