Description

JOB SUMMARY:

To support the Sales Operations department, the Sales Operations Administrator will be experienced in handling a wide range of administrative tasks. As the Sales Operations Administrator, you will be a highly resourceful team-player, who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, with multiple competing deadlines, while remaining flexible, proactive and efficient. The individual will be responsible for completing quotes, supplier forms, the samples confirmation process, and coordinating the completion of other tasks as directed. In addition, the individual will have responsibility to download and maintain GPO membership lists. The expectation will be to have the ability to exercise good judgement in a variety of situations, with strong written and verbal communication, organizational skills and the ability to maintain balance among multiple priorities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for the samples confirmation process which includes sending out emails to the salesforce, documenting the results and reporting out to the Director.
  • Responsible for the creation and sending out of commission statements for the acute sales team. The individual will not be responsible for the calculation of commissions.
  • Assist with the product inquiry process.
  • Download and maintain GPO membership lists on network drives on a reoccurring basis.
  • Edits/creates quotes to assist the sales support specialists.
  • Completes a broad variety of administrative tasks for the Sales Operations team.
  • Assist the sales support specialists with cross referencing of products as a developmental opportunity.
  • Manage the day-to-day tasks for the sales support specialists.
  • Assists with basic excel based reports with the Sales Operations department. Work with a teammate to create the reports and then send to requestor.
  • Completes special projects and other duties as assigned.
 
Position Requirements

Education:

High school diploma with related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Bachelor’s or associate’s degree looked upon favorably

EXPERIENCE:

1-3 years’ sales support related experience. The expectation is for the individual to be willing to learn on the job.

Technical Skills:

Intermediate level skill with Microsoft Office 2007 or later including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Word. Experience with Epicor and Salesforce.com looked upon favorably.
