Description

The Fifty/50 Management Group is growing and looking for a friendly and caring wholesale assistant who enjoys being around people and working in a fast-paced environment with a supportive team. It’s a fun place to work and a great place to start a career too.

Wholesale Assistant will be responsible for data entry, brand development and occasionally packing and delivering products.

Essential Functions:

  • Data Entry 
  • Work with Microsoft Excel, Word documents, Suites, and Quickbooks
  • Corresponding with various restaurants and management teams within the group
  • Attention to detail 
  • Strong work ethic
  • Ability to work in a clean healthy environment
  • Ability to multitask and work independently
  • Scan, file and electronically organize documents
  • Complete projects as assigned in a timely manner

Other Functions:

  • Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the wholesale program as directed by the immediate supervisor.  This can be including delivering product to wholesale customers and packing products for delivery
  • Operating a computer, answering the phone, providing great customer service, and following Fifty/50 Restaurant Group policies & procedures

Physical Functions:

  • Be able to lift up to 20 pounds.
  • Will frequently reach, feel, bend, stoop, carry, finely manipulate and key in data
  • Work in both warm and cool environments

Qualifications, Education and Behavior:

  • At least 18 years old.
  • Ability to work quickly while maintaining safety standards and procedures
  • Ability to work early morning hours, evening hours and weekends are required
  • Ability to work consistent schedule at least 3 days per week. 
  • Food Handlers Certificate

About the Organization Founded in 2008, The Fifty/50 Restaurant Group is a fun-loving group of individuals responsible for creating several diverse restaurant and bar concepts across Chicago. Through hard work and innovation by the principals and partners, the group either owns or manages 20 establishments since its inception.

In 2007, as Chicago was about to implement a smoking ban in bars and restaurants, the duo recognized an opportunity to bring higher quality food and service into a sports bar environment. With the opening of The Fifty/50 in Wicker Park, they found themselves at the forefront of Chicago's growing restaurant and bar movement.
