Due to explosive growth, we have an immediate opening for a VP of Market Development in our CDMO group.

Reporting directly to the CEO, this leader will have full market specific P&L responsibility – marshalling our resources to develop the right relationships, enhance and/or build our sales and marketing related products and services, and perform the marketing activities needed to cause us to beat our competition and win in our current markets as well as enter new markets to drive our growth.  Specifically, this individual needs to be effective at:

  • Changing the customer’s (readers and advertisers) perception(s)

            - at an individual contact level; and

             - at a group level

  • Advancing our products and/or services to get those products and/or services in line with:

               - the needs of the customer(s) (readers and advertisers)

               - solving the objection(s) of the customer(s) (readers and advertisers)

Position Requirements

Candidates must have these qualifications at a minimum:

  • 10+ Years Selling or Marketing Experience
  • 10+ Years Supervisory Responsibility
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent networking skills, including social media proficiency
  • Conflict “Ready”
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Ability to solve complex problems and think creatively
  • Must be self-motivated with drive to push initiatives forward with minimal guidance
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and demanding timeframes.

Preferred Experience/Skills:

  • 5+ years of CDMO Market experience
