Description

George School, a Quaker boarding/day grades 9-12 college preparatory school located in Newtown, Bucks County, PA has an opening for an Alumni and Parent Engagement Coordinator.

The Alumni and Parent Engagement Coordinator will conceive, plan, and implement programs, events, communications, activities, processes and procedures related to alumni and parent engagement, with a specific emphasis on young alumni and students.

Working with the Director of Alumni and Parent Engagement, the Coordinator helps develop and implement multi-channel communications, stimulating events and outcome-focused programs that are intended to keep alumni and parents informed about and involved with George School, while deepening alumni and parent pride and affiliation. The Coordinator will help identify and manage alumni and parent volunteers who will help build, manage and promote the alumni and parent program.

The Alumni and Parent Engagement Coordinator works collaboratively with all members of the Advancement Office, faculty and staff across various departments, and committee volunteers to maximize alumni and parent engagement for George School.

 
Position Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree required and one-year professional office experience preferred.
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a diverse community.
  • Self-starter, highly motivated.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) and familiarity with database functionality and portal management.
  • Commitment to the Quaker values of peace, equality, service, community, and consensus decision-making.
  • Demonstrated aptitude with new and emerging technologies.
  • Discretion, respect, and ability to maintain confidentiality.
