Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

Rate: $15.00-$17.00 hour

What You Would Be Doing

The Community Living Support Specialist is responsible for supporting the Supported Living team through general clerical assistance, training, billing, and payroll duties.

  • Payroll
    • Running, reviewing, and correcting payroll reports for errors, paid time off issues, entering single entry time, paycheck attachments, and disbursement.
    • Serves as a point of contact for support for all regions using Anywhere/Advisor.
    • Training of new region management on Anywhere/Advisor, setting up all-new hire information needed.
    • Performs all central payroll duties for expanding central region programs.
  • Individual Support Plans
    • Collect, organize, and file Individual Support Plans (ISP) every month.
  • Financial
    • Collect, verifies, and files monthly financial paperwork.
    • Coordinate, e-mail, and receive special check requests.
    • Receive and distribute first of the month checks.
  • Onboarding
    • Meets bi-weekly with new hires to set up logins and passwords for Anywhere, provides and collects contact info.
    • Trains on how to use iPad for Time Entry and Company Apps.
    • Bi-Weekly new hire training for new hires
  • Compliance and Quality Assurance
    • Complete the Quality Assurance review form and report issues to the manager and Supported Living Administrator.
    • Assists Supported Living Administrator with CQL Compliance.
    • Provides Compliance percentages monthly to Administrator.
 
Position Requirements

Required Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid Ohio Driver’s License with Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles and proof of auto insurance.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent computer skills – including spreadsheets and word processing tools – and ability to learn new programs expeditiously.

Preferred Education and Experience

  • One to two years’ experience in the field of developmental disabilities.
  • Bachelor's Degree
