Our new offerings have fueled substantial growth, leading us to need a Project Manager focused on our Multimedia Services. As this is a new role, we're not only looking for someone who can fulfill the role but someone who can help us establish, document, and continuously improve upon best practices for effective execution in logistics and outcomes.

The ideal candidate will possess relevant marketing/project management experience, preferably in the pharmaceutical, biotech, and/or medical device industries. More specifically, you will be responsible for the following:

Responsibilities:

  • Establish and document optimal workflows based on varying event packages. Create new package types. Help better define portions of the current packages VertMarkets offers.
  • Oversee aspects of all VertMarkets webinar packages sold across various industry segments, including:
    • Managing and coordinating a monthly schedule of all webinars sold
    • Coordinating and running kick-off calls with customers who have purchased a webinar to familiarize them with the process, determine the date and time the webinar will run (if not already established in the contract), identify the subject matter experts/presenters, schedule and run training on presentation tool with subject matter experts/presenters prior to the webinar.
    • Collect materials from the customer for webinar registration page
    • Schedule eblasts, newsletter sponsorships, social media messages, and other registrant engagement drivers for upcoming webinars, and write/develop effective messaging on behalf of our customers.
    • Oversee image creation for messaging.
    • Create unique URLs for each promotion in order to determine message effectiveness.
    • Create new avenues of registrant engagement drivers and test them for effectiveness.
  • Collect slide deck materials and ensure they load properly into the presentation tool prior to the webinar
  • Moderate live webinars – Welcome attendees, introduce subject matter experts, run polls, coordinate Q&A sections, and interact with subject matter experts when and where it’s appropriate
  • Understand the desired outcomes of the client’s marketing/strategic business team prior to the event and appropriately guide subject matter experts to that message
  • Facilitate the creation of an archived version post-event
  • Coordinate and execute any post-event promotions (if any) outlined in contract with the customer. Create messaging for said promotions.
  • Oversee attendee list processing post-event to ensure the activity is captured in our database
  • Create and deliver post-event reporting to customer based on the package purchased.
 
Position Requirements

Required Education / Skills / Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree, with a concentration in marketing, business administration, communications, or related discipline is highly desirable
  • 5 years’ experience as a Project Manager or similar preferably at B2B marketing agency, publishing company, or web media/digital agency
  • Strong presentation and moderating skills
  • Positive, collaborative attitude, with a confidence inspiring approach to problem solving and exceeding customer expectations.
  • Demonstrable knowledge and experience with project management methodologies, processes, and challenges
  • Extremely organized, with a high attention to detail, and a proven track record of strong time management
  • Concise, clear verbal and written communication and presentation skills
  • Highly resourceful, collaborative problem solver and quick learner
  • Ability to work both independently and cooperatively in a fast-paced environment
  • Open to feedback, with an ability to inspire, support and understand people
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to build relationships and communicate effectively with cross-functional team members

 

Preferred Skills / Experience (position specific reasons not to hire)

  • Experience working with brand content, content marketing, and/or custom content.
  • Ability to educate and inspire clients with possibilities and capabilities of VertMarkets products and services to help improve their marketing programs.
  • Experience using project manager software (Asana) to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Background that includes B2B marketing, agency, and/or business publishing
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud, Premiere Pro-Audio, Podcast creation and editing
