Behavioral Assistant - Partnership for Children

Position: In Home Behavioral Assistant “Per-Diem”

Care Plus’ Partnership for Children program provides in-home behavioral assistance to youth up to age 21, who are seeking services after school/work hours. We are seeking highly motivated professionals for per-diem positions. Per Diem Position- $20.00/hr. Behavioral Assistants provide face-to-face interventions to reduce undesirable behaviors and assist youth in building appropriate behaviors. Provides in-community services to families with children and adolescents to reduce risk of out-of-home placement, and improves family relationship. Assures departmental goals and/or objectives are accomplished within prescribed time frame by performing the job responsibilities personally.


  • Provide direct care for children and families
  • Prepare appropriate documentation such as session notes and service encounter forms
  • Consistent communication with referral sources and care team
  • Have an understanding of the principles and application of applied behavioral analysis and behavioral modification
  • Participate in a paid weekly supervision


  • A Bachelor's Degree in psychology, social work, counseling and/or education

  • 2 years experience working with children/adolescents

  • Minimum caseload of 3 youth

  • Possess a valid driver's license and must be insurable under Agency's automobile insurance policy.

  • Must be willing to work throughout Bergen County
