We are looking for a dedicated Summer Program Aide that is energetic, enthusiastic and dependable.

You will have paid training May 24 - June 7, and camp will run from June 8 - August 9. Hours will be 8:30AM –3:30PM Monday-Friday. Rate: $10 hour

What You Will Be Doing

Primary job responsibilities include supporting and monitoring individuals with intellectual, developmental and other disabilities in a 1:4 ratio. Encouragement and engagement of consumers is required, including participation in water activities and outdoor gross motor activities, sports and games.

The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, energetic, and able to accommodate modifications in schedule and activity daily. Individuals will be tasked with assisting with toileting routines, engaging in communication opportunities, participating and encouraging participation in events and activities, and monitoring the safety and the camp consumers.

 
Position Requirements

Education and Qualifications:

  • High school diploma/GED – some college preferred

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities

  • Exemplary attendance
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Prior experience with MR/DD consumers a plus
  • Ability to complete trainings and utilize that information in daily therapies
  • Ability to follow directions and make necessary adjustments throughout the day
  • Communicates in a professional manner with coworkers and parents
  • Ability to follow all Boundless policies and procedures
  • Intermediate computer skills
