What You Will Be Doing This position will provide direct services – including Day & Vocational Habilitation, Recreational Services, as well as Non-Medical Transportation Services – for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities and behavioral health challenges. The role may additionally be required to provide and implement behavioral health and educational services to individuals diagnosed with autism and related mental health disorders. We pride ourselves on providing a safe and well-structured environment while embracing a person-centered and community-integrated philosophy.   Regarding times of unexpected or temporary inability to provide services in the community (inclement weather, pandemic, etc.), some services may be provided in a facility or the individual’s residence to help prepare them for future community services or to engage in community events from a distance or online. Primarily, our program is a community-based with regular outings with the people we support.    Position Requirements Required Education and Experience  High School Diploma or equivalent.  Three years’ experience working with people with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities or behavioral health challenges in any residential, supported living, respite, day or vocational program, or school program.  Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record.  Preferred Education and Experience  Experience working as a Qualified Behavioral Health Specialist (QBHS)   Five years’ experience working with people with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities or behavioral health challenges.  At least two years of college in psychology or related field plus 3 years or more of experience in the mental health field.  Licensure/Certification  Multi-Media First Aid, CPR - adult, child, and infant; delegated nursing (training will be provided, if not already certified). Valid Ohio Driver’s License – Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles.  Proof of auto insurance No more than five points on driving records Successfully complete drug screen and physical. Successfully complete DOT drug screen and physical (as needed based upon specific vehicle operation).  Med Cert (as needed based upon clientele).
