New Client Account Coordinator - ePlan 

Description

Please note: This is an office-based position that is temporarily Work From Home.  This position will return to the office on a date TBD.

Responsible for the timely and accurate set-up of ePlan Services, Inc. Recordkeeping 401k plans. Provides advanced client service and ensures timely and accurate problem resolution. Conducts professional and accurate welcome calls to advisor and client base.

  • Initiates e-mail to schedule welcome call and conducts call with client to review plan information, payroll start date and system features and functionality to ensure client is knowledgeable on the plan processes.
  • Establish salesforce accounts to house plan level information and ongoing communication for companywide tracking and access.
  • Provide support to financial advisors, partners and wholesalers in closing sales opportunities to ensure client needs are satisfied. Generate allocation proposals for advisors and wholesaler team to coordinate employee benefits.
  • Review required plan establishment documents for accuracy and system activation to ensure timely activation goals are met. Track and process advisor change requests timely to ensure advisor and client satisfaction.
  • Follow-up with advisor, client or wholesaler on any outstanding and missing documentation in order to activate 401k plan timely and accurately for the client.
  • Work with payroll providers to set-up 401k integration (if applicable) to ensure timely receipt of census data and payroll feed for the client.
  • Review mutual fund information and work with Trust Group to open new funds to allow additional investment options for client and advisors.
  • Set-up RIA and Broker Dealer firms with Compliance and Accounting for ongoing advisor payments to make sure fees are processed correctly.
  • Work with Conversion Specialist in transferring existing 401k plans from various outside providers to our recordkeeping platform to ensure client and advisor satisfaction is met.
  • Gather and review prior plan documents, accounts statement, IRS Form 5500 & Compliance Testing to accurately report client information.
  • Help schedule blackout notices and liquidation dates from prior carrier and custodian to meet conversion transfer goals.
  • Review and reconcile prior carrier reports and loan valuations to satisfy client and advisor review for approval and processing.
  • Other duties as assigned to support the general purpose of the position’s function and meet client needs and department goals.
 
Position Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in
  • 2 years of experience in Related field in financial industry or knowledge of 401(k) industry.
  • Compensation range for this role for U.S. Colorado Residents:

    Range minimum: $ 18.00/hr + bonus

    Range maximum: $ 22.00/hr + bonus
