Woodshop Specialist 

Position Wood Shop Specialist  

The Landings Association has an immediate opening for a Wood Shop Specialist in our Facilities department.

This position reports to Public Works which maintains, repairs, and improves all infrastructure, equipment, and grounds owned and operated by The Landings Association. Maintenance levels provided are integral to our resident’s satisfaction as well as to maintaining property values, promoting home sales and supporting the marketing of the community. The Facilities department ensures that the highest quality maintenance and repairs are performed, while meeting strict compliance and safety standards.

The Primary duties of the Wood Shop Specialist are (but not limited to):

  • Constructing and painting mailboxes, signs, and other structures for The Landings community
  • Repairing and maintaining signs and mailboxes throughout the community to ensure continuity and aesthetic standards.
  • Providing carpentry and minor facility repairs to all TLA buildings

Position Requirements
  • Experience with Carvewright carving machine a plus
  • Must have an aptitude for attention to detail and excellent follow up skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to multi-task and meet commitments
  • Must have a minimum of three years of applicable work experience
  • HS Diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • The ability to be on-call in emergency situations.
