JOB DUTIES / EXPERTISE: The contractor will not perform inherently governmental function (IGF) to support transportation of things billing. Government will ensure all tasks performed are non IGF. Review, analyze and perform various fund control and accounting functions with special emphasis on improving the accuracy, content and timeliness of financial reporting. Verify transportation of things related financial documents for validity, accuracy, and completeness. Assist with management of the Second Destination Transportation (SDT) budget for MARCORLOGCOM centrally managed TACs. Assist with the validation and assignment of appropriate TACs for MARCORLOGCOM shipments outside of MILSTRIP. Verify transportation related financial documents for validity, accuracy, and completeness. Compiles, reviews, and analyzes local budgetary and financial planning data in support of traffic management functions and decisions. Compares transportation rates to identify and recommend more efficient and economical use of resources. Ensures compliance with Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness (FIAR). Functional knowledge of automated information systems that are used throughout DOD for billing and invoicing such as DLA Financial Web   Position Requirements MINIMUM SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:  Master’s degree in a related field and 3 years of specialized experience OR Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 6 years of specialized experience OR 10 years of specialized experience. Experience with DLA and USTRANSCOM billing preferred.
