We are a certified Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE), Minority Business Enterprise (MBE), Small Business, and 8(a) firm operating primarily in the District of Columbia Metropolitan area, but aggressively expanding during the remainder of 2021. We are currently seeking an Accounting/Bookkeeping professional, reporting directly to our CFO, to provide support to our corporate operations internally.  Responsibilities will include: Billing and collections Daily and monthly reconciliations Monthly close Preparing financial statements, including notes to the financial statements Internal and external reporting Modeling support for bids and proposals Regularly working with external auditors      Position Requirements The ideal candidate should have experience in government contracting and working with Deltek/CostPoint. Either a bookkeeper or an accountant is acceptable.  Basic job-related knowledge is required, with a demonstrated ability to perform the specified tasks of the role.
