We are seeking a Planning Yard Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Boston, MA. The ideal candidate will: Assume responsibility for all Mechanical Engineering for LCAC SLEP, LCAC LCM, SSC LCM, and sustainment efforts. Develop Craft Change Documents (CCD) for craft improvements and safety issues and provides technical guidance and documentation for CCDs, including craft installation drawings, TM updates, and Acceptance Test Procedures (ATP). Provide technical and design support on emergent issues in the Fleet and during SLEP, Post SLEP Extension (PSE), Fleet Modernization Program (FMP), AIT, and Post Shakedown Availabilities (PSA). Respond to emergent Fleet issues related to Life Cycle support and engineering issues as a result of System Engineering Integrated Product Team (SEIPT) meetings for items related to action items/studies. Serve as the lead technical authority for reviewing/answering Liaison Action Requests (LAR) processed and approved by the Planning Yard. Travel for design craft checks when required (ACU-4, ACU-5 and NBU-7). Work/update the status of work in PMS377’s IDESC.   Position Requirements Required Education, Skills, and Experience: Bachelor of Science within a Mechanical Engineering discipline from an accredited institution. A minimum of 5 years of relatable experience. An active Secret security clearance. US citizenship is a prerequisite.     Some TCG customers require individuals providing support to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 in accordance with Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommendations.
