Share Email Opening Title 741 Marina Attendant  Location Shingobee on the Bay   Description POSITION SUMMARY JOB DESCRIPTION: Maintain all public areas including dock area. Assists guests upon arrival, duration of stay & departure, in a friendly and efficient manner.   ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS RESPONSIBILITIES: Maintain all areas of property, primarily in the Marina area. Greet boaters, tourists & guests. Register boaters, provide information about docking services and respond to additional requests. Maintain inventory of brochures and information on Leech Lake, Walker & area businesses. Ensure all guest contact is handled in a friendly and efficient manner. Maintain data on visitors and inquires. Assure all supplies are stocked throughout your shift. Assist in store when needed. Maintain the appearance of the dock area completing light repair work, i.e. touch-up paint, plaster etc. Maintains knowledge of all events in the property as a whole. Attends and/or facilitates all mandatory meetings and training. Maintains confidentiality at all times. Is sensitive to Native American Culture. Operates within the parameters of the Leech Lake Gaming Human Resource Policy, Departmental Policy Manual and all Tribal Internal Controls (TICs), and all other applicable regulations. Secures the assets of Leech Lake Gaming and the Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe. Performs other duties as assigned.     Position Requirements   KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Basic knowledge of boats and boating.. Knowledge of assigned cleaning equipment. Dependable, honest and trustworthy. Must have a good attendance record.   PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time. Ability to work outdoors and in variable weather conditions. Ability to swim. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
