Description

Position is located at 801 John Barrow Road in Little Rock, Arkansas.

Experience in facilities/mailroom operations preferred. Excel & Outlook experience preferred. Must be punctual, be able to pay attention to detail and meet tight deadlines when processing/sorting incoming mail. Working knowledge of various hand tool use, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical preferred but certifications in those trade fields is not required/needed. Ability to multi task, work with little supervision, perform various maintenance tasks requiring physical labor, and frequently lift/push/pull objects that are 40 pounds or heavier.

SUMMARY: Under the direction and supervision of the assigned Supervisor/Manager, the incumbent handles the general maintenance and upkeep of the physical properties. The Maintenance Specialist 1 will perform simple maintenance functions and may assist with courier and company errands.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Friday 7:30 am to 4:30 pm. There are Periodic weekends to be worked. (Usually 4 times a year)Perform general repairs, change bulbs, and handle miscellaneous duties and maintenance.

  1. Move furniture, file cabinets, etc. due to personnel relocations, etc.
  2. Ensure grounds, landscaping and buildings are well kept.
  3. Service filters on A/C and heater units.
  4. Maintain the upkeep of maintenance equipment, tools, and materials.
  5. May contact outside contractors for major repairs and follow-up, as necessary.
  6. May set up rooms for meetings, training sessions, etc.
  7. May serve as back up for courier routes and company errands.
  8. Understand and comply with bank policy, laws, regulations, and the bank's BSA/AML Program, as applicable to your job duties. This includes but is not limited to; complete compliance training and adhere to internal procedures and controls; report any known violations of compliance policy, laws, or regulations and report any suspicious customer and/or account activity.

Position Requirements

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.
  • One (1) to two (2) years of maintenance experience required.
  • Knowledge of various hand tools required.
  • Proven mechanical ability required.
  • Valid driver's license and maintenance of an excellent driving record required.
  • Previous experience with electrical, plumbing, heating/air conditioning and equipment preferred.

The associate is occasionally subjected to outdoor weather conditions, must work near moving mechanical parts, work in high places, and is sometimes subjected to risk of electrical shock.
