Description

Position Summary:

As a Driver at Edgewood Tahoe, you provide exceptional service to all Lodge guests by assisting them in a friendly, efficient, courteous and professional manner. You are responsible for operating deluxe Edgewood Tahoe Mercedes Sprinter Vehicles to transport guests as directed by the Guest Services Management and provide efficient driving services on predefined routes. The most important characteristic of our team is that we love inspiring lasting memories for our guests. In this position you exhibit excellence in your commitment to our guests. Essential Functions:

  • Upon arrival of guests, welcome guests by name and provide any assistance.
  • Transport guests in a safe, comfortable, and courteous manner.
  • Maintain communication with Valet and Bell desk as necessary.
  • Inspect vehicle condition before and after use, also filling out your daily paperwork.
  • Report discrepancies found on vehicle before using.
  • Report all accidents or tickets immediately to the Guest Services Management.
  • Always maintain vehicle is in clean condition. (Interior and Exterior)
  • Operate in a working environment that is at times subject to hazards such as driving in all weather conditions. Proper clothing is provided.
  • Load and unload luggage from shuttle as necessary.
  • Safely operate all passenger vehicles as needed.
  • Always use Guest Name and give proper greeting and farewell to all guests
  • Other duties as assigned. Responsibilities and activities may change at any time with or without notice.
 
Position Requirements

Qualifications / Special Skills:

  • The ideal candidate is a highly motivated professional. Proficiency in English.
  • Excellent communication skills, and be able to follow directions
  • Previous experience in hospitality would be preferred and commitment to delivering a high level of customer service.
  • Be a great team player.
  • Able to sit for long hours and transport guest's luggage and guest’s Skis and Snowboards in and out of the shuttle, lift objects up to 50 pounds and run on occasion.
  • Be knowledgeable of local streets and landmarks.
  • Must have a valid Nevada driver’s license, with a clean driving record
  • Available to work varied shifts when needed, including weekends, holidays, and nights.
