Share Email Opening Title Contracts Manager (2021-067)  Astronics Subsidiary Astronics AES   Location Kirkland, WA   Description JOB SUMMARY The role of the Contracts Manager is to maintain and ensure compliance for contracts regarding company products. This position will support both internal and external customers in Company procedures that outline contract management and procedures. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Responsible for administration of major company contracts for company products. Represent the company during meetings with customers. Provide training and guidance to other department personnel and company personnel in effective contract administration, pricing, and procurement methods. Recommend improved contract management procedures and techniques. Assist the program managers with advice on legal aspects of programs. Prepare the company operating procedures relative to contract administration. Support proposals for new business activities including pricing functions. Perform other duties as assigned. This position may require knowledge of SOX / 404 internal audit controls and related documentation.   Position Requirements MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree preferred. Ten years related experience required. This includes experience with: Administering major company contracts Representing company with customers Providing training and guidance Improving contract management procedures and techniques Assisting program managers with advice on legal aspects of programs Preparing company operating procedures Supporting proposals for new business activities including pricing The successful candidate will have an overall working knowledge of Federal Acquisitions Regulations (FAR) and supporting supplements, Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) and 10 USC 2306(a), Truth in Negotiations Act and ensure company contractual compliance to these applicable regulations.
