Inventory Control Analyst

Position Summary

The Inventory Control Analyst will assist the Inventory Control Supervisor with managing levels of inventory and improving efficiency of counts conducted. Responsible for working closely with the Inventory Control Specialists to ensure proper material flow through warehouse by reviewing and auditing physical inventory counts and to make sure that all documentation is properly reported, reviewed, and sent out to the appropriate teams in a timely manner. Organization and attention to detail are critical to this position, along with a proficient understanding of Excel and high-level of computer literacy.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare reports to include accurate and up to date information for inventory counts.
    • Adding new items to the appropriate reports.
    • Updating revisions and item information on inventory reports.
    • Removing any obsolete inventory listed on reports.
  • Review and audit completed inventory reports using Microsoft Excel running on Windows 10.
    • Review inactive/quality-concern inventory to provide disposition recommendations.
    • Record identified discrepancies for further review and error analysis.
    • Assist Inventory Control Supervisor with reviewing data for End of Month reporting.
  • Preparing and exporting reports from NetSuite (ERP portal) to assist in inventory reviews.
    • Actively compare NetSuite Reports and against physical counts to ensure accuracy.
    • Provide updates on any inventory count/lot code discrepancies that need adjustments.
    • Assist in setting up new inventory items in NetSuite.
    • Review 3rd party inventory reports and provide feedback on necessary adjustments.
  • Assisting Inventory Team with additional support as necessary.
    • Assist with inventory restocking and organization of inventory for use in production.
    • Assist with floor counts, auditing, & recounts.
  • Processing information on setup of new items to ensure all reports and lookups align.
  • Prepare advanced ship notices for inventory send to off-site facilities and co-manufacturers.
  • Communicating effectively across various departments to ensure accuracy of inventory counts
 
Position Requirements
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment.
  • Ability to work independently with moderate supervision to complete daily tasks.
  • Responsibilities may require extended hours (up to 10-11 hours) once per month for End of Month inventory counts. Additional requirements may include adjustments to work schedule, overtime, and evening/weekend hours.
  • Proficient experience in Microsoft Office Suite, in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Outlook.
  • Will be required to work in environment with temperatures below 40*F as necessary.
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
  • Reliable transportation required.
  • ERP experience required; NetSuite experience is a plus.
  • Food & beverage/produce background is a plus.
  • Forklift experience is a plus, not required.
  • English speaking required, Spanish speaking is a plus
