We are adding an Assistant Project Manager to prepare shop drawings and hardware schedules and to manage projects from start to completion.

Major Responsibilities

  • Responsible for project profitability, which includes negotiating with vendors and customers
  • Interpret information received from customers and troubleshoot problems as they arise
  • Extensive phone and email contact with customers/vendors
  • Interpret blueprints, specifications and building codes
  • Use CAD effectively
  • Daily coordination with other departments
  • Prepare business correspondence

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university and one year experience; or three to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combinations of education and experience.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and government regulations.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
