Supply Chain Senior Finance Analyst 

Description

 

  • The SCM Sr. Finance Analyst is responsible for reporting of direct material performance and providing financial analysis to support SCM Leadership in making decisions and developing strategies to drive material cost reduction efforts, which includes:
  • Lead financial analysis & coordinate preparation of direct material performance (volume and spend) for annual material budget and Material Price Variance target development
  • Support Product Line Directors and commodity team in pipeline reviews, reporting and ad-hoc analysis
  • Compile and distribute monthly reports:
    • Internal Business Review Presentation and Supplemental data
    • Income Statement Total Material analysis (summary & detail; global, regional, key plants, product lines)
  • Provide guidance to back office SCM support in India:
    • MCPS Weekly Report and Target Analysis
    • Purchase Price Variance report to team on 5th business day of each month
    • Supplier financial health assessment requests
  • MCPS database - responsible for data integrity within the database, working with IT on enhancements and reporting of information to the organization, which includes the MCPS Dashboard
  • SG&A budget development and analysis, headcount and requisition tracking
  • Work with Business Process Team on process and reporting improvement initiatives
  • Manage process of Supplier Financial Health assessment
 
Position Requirements
  • 3+ years’ experience
  • Knowledge of financials statements (development of income statement, balance sheet, cash flow
  • Understanding of material cost management in supply chain, standard costing and purchase price variance
  • High level of analytical ability
  • Understand the importance of working in a team environment, and ability to build relationships
  • Comfortable speaking and presenting in large groups
  • Excel, PowerPoint, Plex and One Stream experience
 
Education Requirement Bachelors in business, finance or related. Master's degree preferred
