Share Email Opening Title CADD Technician II - Civil  Description Alliant Engineering, Inc. has an exciting opening for a CADD Technician to join our Land Development team in our Jacksonville, Florida office.   As a CADD Technician II, you will be part of a team that will be given the opportunity to work on a variety of projects in Florida and across the country.  The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of plan production and design standards for agencies throughout northeast Florida.  You will work under the direction of a licensed Professional Engineer.  Position Description: Provides technical support for assigned projects, using a computer as an aid to drafting and design; Completes detailed drawings from sketches, plans, specification, and written and verbal instructions using computer-aided drafting programs; Ability to set up complete engineering plan sets based on industry standards with minimal direction; Reviews all work for completeness and accuracy prior to submitting to Project Engineer or Project Manager for review; Revises or changes drawings, traces and/or copies existing drawings and completes calculations with specific instructions; Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job; Maintains neat and orderly work area, which allows access to project information to other team members.   Exempt/Non-Exempt Non-Exempt   Full-Time/Part-Time Full-Time   Open Date 5/4/2021   Number of Openings 1   Location Jacksonville, Florida   EOE Statement We are an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.
