Description

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

This position is to provide hands-on customer services to ticket patrons by answering phone calls and staffing the ticketing service/box office window as scheduled. Position further provides administrative support to/within Box Office and Ent/Theatre department, including but not limited to special requests, outbound service calls, group sales, inter-departmental assistance, Salesforce, reports, account management, data base management, and other ticketing duties as assigned. This position reports directly to the Ticketing Services Manager day to day, and Theatre General Manager.

TYPICAL WORK ROUTINE INCLUDES, BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  1. Lead Box Office/ticketing services in implementation of daily sales and service items. Sell tickets via Box Office phone and window, in a detailed, service-oriented and efficient manner.
  2. Proactively assist with season ticket renewals, transfers, returns and/or exchanges and other unique situations patrons and staff might require.
  3. Act as liaison between guests/patrons and Ticketing Services Manager or Theatre General Manager when necessary.
  4. Execute day of event tasks including but not limited to setting & testing scanning equipment, printing & creating re-seat map, setup up and perform ticket solutions role, act as a resource for Box Office (as applicable) & Theatre staff, assist with client ticketing needs/guest list/comps and setup and lead mobile Box Office when applicable
  5. Be knowledgeable about and ensure Box Office staff (as applicable) are familiar with The Classic Center Cultural Foundation. Provide ticketing -related assistance to the Cultural Foundation & Sponsorship Coordinator as needed via Salesforce.
  6. Assist Ticketing Services Manager & Theatre General Manager with event build processes and tasks and the communications of event builds as requested and trained.
  7. Support Ticketing Services Manager with internal department invoicing systems and flow as requested/needed
  8. Upon request and supervision of the Ticketing Services Manager, coordinate scheduled report requests for ticketed events, confirm their delivery, and perform the related data entry.
  9. Process group sales inquiries, reservations, payments, and ensure accuracy of online content in collaboration with Ticketing Services Manager and Marketing department.
  10. Under the training, supervision and support of management, position shall become proficient in basic back office software processes such as building general admission events, updating forms messages, creating promo codes, uploading images and requesting reloads via ticketing partner.
  11. Assist Ticketing Services Manager and Theatre Manager with post-event administrative tasks, including but not limited to providing internal event settlements, providing ticket-sales reports, inputting group sales info into Salesforce and tracking ticketing fees by event
  12. Provide administrative support to the Entertainment/Theatre department in a variety of daily activities related to events, administration, staffing, ticketing or miscellaneous.
 
Position Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. College degree preferred but not required.

2. Minimum of two years’ experience in retail or customer service-related field.

3. Impeccable customer service skills and attention to details.

4. Basic knowledge of ticketing, and general knowledge of accounting principles.

5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite required.

6. Proficiency in learning new software programs required.

7. Available nights, weekends, and holidays as needed. Must be available Mon. 10pm-4pm, Wed. 2pm-6pm, and Fri. 10am-2pm

Effective September 1, 2021, the Classic Center Authority (CCA) will require all employees and interns to be vaccinated against COVID-19.
