Flex Force Team Member 

Description

Flex Force Team Members are hired to assist in the completion of a specific project or for relief due to scheduled/unscheduled absences or spikes in production. This is a limited part-time position that is not eligible for any of DuraTechs benefit programs,

What you will do:

The Flex Force Team Member performs work in various departments, primarily moving between Final Inspection, Die Cutting, Screening, Screen Making and Shipping.

Final Inspection

  • Performs detailed visual inspection of screen printed parts using DuraTech Workmanship Standards and/or customer specified cosmetic standards to separate and contain bad product.

Die Cutting

  • Die Cutter: Operates steel rule die cutting presses to thermal, emboss and pierce. Cuts and /or punches a variety of substrates to required specifications. Monitors, documents and implements solutions to non-conformities. Produces quality parts while maintaining optimum production level.
  • Assembler: Applies a variety of adhesives, masks and laminates to all types of product through the use of machines and manual applications. Splits and serializes product according to customer specifications. Maintains optimum productivity levels set for the department.

Screening

  • Set up assistant: Racks and/or stacks printed parts and performs limited visual inspection for defects. Completes charts and graphs as required by the process
  • On-line inspector: Monitors the screen printing process to quickly identify defective product and incorrect process parameters and alert the operators, trainers and/or team leader to resolve the problem. Performs sample inspection on orders prior to leaving the screening department to monitor quality levels and alert the team leader of possible order shortage due to poor quality.

Pre-Press

  • Prepares screens for the screening department. Follows the screen through several phases such as reclaiming, degreasing, coating, shooting, development, and inspection. Inspects repeat film positives to ensure good quality films. Coordinates and controls the flow of the repeat and used art files. Pulls art files for work orders and files art files from completed orders.

Shipping and Warehouse

  • Locates, packs, weighs, ships and tracks orders for customers. Creates appropriate documentation for shipments. Warehouses parts to proper bin locations. Performs accurate cycle counting to ensure correct inventory levels.
 
Position Requirements

Must haves:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; applicants in high school or in pursuit of GED may be considered
  • Applicant must be a minimum of 16 years old

  • Self-motivated and able to handle one or more time-sensitive tasks.
  • Ability to read and comprehend job orders that provide specific details and instructions.
  • Ability to work proficiently with computers.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure.
  • Ability to work independently without continued support from others.
  • Ability to stand and/or sit for long periods of time.
  • Dexterity to put forth physical effort using hands and arms for long periods at a time.
