Veterans strongly encouraged to apply Benefits Summary: Guaranteed pay $60k Up to 10 days paid time off depending upon start date Full health benefits 401(k) matching Schedule: Full time Monday-Friday Flexible start times determined by account service windows Local routes No nights Home daily Covering routes when delivery drivers are off When not covering a route, you will be training on routes with delivery drivers Relief drivers are first in line for open delivery routes Duties: Perform daily Pre/Post trip inspection Follow all DOT regulations and company safe driving guidelines and policies. Deliver to all accounts on truck in safe manner and within accounts service window. Unload products from the trailer, transport items into designated customer storage areas. Stock, merchandise, rotate, and face product on displays, hot shelves, cooler, cold box, and back-room stock. Collect payment for all delivered invoices (no cash accepted) Operate assigned company equipment in safe and professional manner Unload damaged goods, customer returns, complete necessary paperwork and synchronize handheld. Unload all equipment, materials and remove trash from trailers as required. Perform general housekeeping duties in tractor, loading dock area and keep trailers clear and clean as required. Performs other related duties as assigned   Position Requirements Required skill and experience: Must be at least 23 years of age Must have at valid Virginia CDL-A license Must maintain an acceptable driving record in compliance with DOT requirements. Must be able to lift products from 25 lbs. to 50 lbs. on a regular basis and up to 165 lbs. when handling keg products. This position must pass DOT physical and DOT Road Test This position must pass a post-offer background and drug test Able to hand-lift and utilize two-wheeler, lift gate and/or other equipment to move and/or stack product cases/freight of varying size and weight throughout shift Preferred Skills and Experience: Experience beverage delivery. Customer Service experience. Experience with a handheld ordering device. Experience with operating equipment (hand trucks, hand cart and pallet jack) Prior grocery store, convenience and/or restaurant experience, including stocking, product handling, and local delivery and unloading product.
