Customer Care Representative - Front Desk Mental Healthcare

Wyandot BHN is seeking a dedicated full time Customer Care Representative (Front Office,  to assist consumer's using our services. The Customer Care Representative is responsible for answering phones, scheduling appointments, greeting visitors, data entry, sending faxes, processing mail and payments and provides services to meet the needs of the consumers and staff.

Essential Job Duties:

  • Direct, screen and route calls, and take accurate messages within the policy of the front desk.   
  • Using the electronic medical records system, document reminder calls to clients for clinic appointments. 
  • Interact positively with clients, other staff members and any guests according to standards.
  • Schedule appointments, Client check in and wait times and collecting payment. 
  • Responsible for the review of client walk-in sheets.
  • Manages client insurance collection, dissemination and ensures information is accurate and up-to-date in the system. 
  • Will be trained to assist with  identification of clients who may escalate and need immediate assistance .
  • Works closely with facilities department to identify mechanical and cleanliness issues in and around the building, and report when necessary.
  • Maintains confidentiality according to HIPPA and organization's standards.
  • Protects confidential information according to HIPPA standards; verifying existence of appropriate releases.
 
Position Requirements

Job Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent. Current or recent studies in behavioral healthcare a plus!
  • Requires the ability to travel between Wyandot BHN, valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance required.
  • One year experience working in a medical front office, a plus!
  • Bi-Lingual preferred, but not required.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & Outlook).
  • High level of attention to detail required.
  • Experience working independently and as a collaberative team memeber. 
 
Full-Time/Part-Time Full-Time  
Hours Monday - Friday, (hours are between the hours of 8:00 am to 7:00 pm and based on needs.
