Description

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

This position has overall responsibility for the parking deck operation and is responsible for successfully overseeing all day-to-day operations and parking events. This position delivers company, client and customer expectations by ensuring the location is operating in accordance with company policy.

TYPICAL WORK ROUTINE INCLUDES, BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  1. Assist in overseeing all operational functions of the parking facility including sales and maintenance
  2. Ensures client satisfaction: respond and handle client requests and issues in a timely fashion both verbally and in writing
  3. Assist with preparing a monthly calendar regarding high traffic dates, operational and staffing plans, and dates that payment will be collected upon entry
  4. Confirm a daily revenue report is sent to appropriate individuals at the end of each shift
  5. Practice excellent communication and teamwork skills with your co-workers
  6. Daily deck monitoring and equipment maintenance
  7. Maintain inventory control of all expendable items
  8. Recommend improvements to operations, procedures, and scheduling to the Parking Manager
  9. Ensure timely and accurate information flow between departments
  10. Ensure general awareness of current and upcoming events
  11. Assist guest as needed with directions and or moving in or out packages
  12. Report any injuries immediately to the mod and ensure that an incident report is filled out
  13. Inspect all signage and report any issues daily
  14. Assist with emptying trash in all areas of the deck and work with housekeeping to ensure any spills or messes are cleaned up asap
  15. Inspect the elevators daily to ensure all are working and are clean and guest ready
  16. Inspect all stair wells daily to ensure all are guest ready
  17. Report any suspicious characters’ to security ASAP
  18. Maintain the parking phone at all times when on duty and be vigilant to respond immediately to guest needs
  19. Be proactive in looking over upcoming events for the week and anticipating special guest needs and things that can be done in advance to avert issues on the event days as related to parking
  20. Always dress in accordance with uniform and company policy on how uniforms should be worn to present the best possible first impression
  21. Work with the foundation to identify VIP guest and ensure we are handling their parking appropriately
  22. Become familiar with all parking software and be aware of routine maintenance and how to do minor repair necessary to the equipment as needed
  23. Ensure company vehicles are cleaned and a full tank of gas prior to use of vehicle
  24. All other duties as assigned
 
Position Requirements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • College degree or equivalent experience
  • Prior experience to lead, manage and motivate team members
  • Strong customer service skills and focus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task or work independently
  • Ability to react and problem solve quickly
  • Ability to understand and communicate company policies and procedures
  • Work schedule will vary depending on event schedule. Parking Operations Supervisor must be able to have a flexible schedule including weekends and nights.
  • License Requirement: Must possess a valid state-issued driver’s license with a current address and acceptable driving record.
