About the Organization Faith Comes By Hearing is an Audio Bible ministry based in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Our vision is to get God's Word to every person, and we do this by recording Audio Bibles in every language and freely sharing them using the latest technology. We currently offer recordings in more than 1000 languages spoken by nearly 6 billion people around the world. Description

Faith Comes By Hearing has a full-time position available for a Digital Programs Coordinator in Albuquerque, New Mexico. This person will be working under the Global Partnerships Operations Manager to coordinate all aspects of FCBH digital programs across the globe with in-country digital implementation teams. This role assists the Global Partnerships Operations Manager to coordinate all global digital efforts, standardize digital reporting, and maintain clear channels of communication between all regions implementing digital programs. This dual role also provides 1st tier support for the Bible Brain API, so has a dotted line to the corresponding development manager.

 
Position Requirements

Responsibilities include:

  • Assists the Global Partnerships Operations Manager in developing digital program goals.
  • Ensures that program goals are carried out to full extent of approved budgets year over year.
  • Works with Area Directors (ADs) to ensure that best practices for digital engagement are being followed, helps to avoid digital pitfalls, aligns terminology across regions, synchronizes regional reporting, interprets statistics for unified global reporting.
  • In partnership with outside organizations, ensures that every FCBH language with digital permissions is represented by an app available in the Google Play Store.
  • Postures FCBH in a service role on above bullet point to fill in the gaps for language communities not being serviced and assists partners in developing and deploying resources for their regions.
  • Manages the FCBH Google Play Store ad campaigns as related to Global Bible Apps under the direction of the Global Partnerships Operations Manager.
  • Assists partners with their Play Store accounts as needed and funds their qualified app ad campaigns as approved by Global Partnerships Operations Manager.
  • Ensures the timely collection of digital campaign statistics.
  • Provides needed training for partners to be able to comply with above points.
  • Assists ADs and program coordinators when appropriate in gathering digital campaign statistics.
  • Provides most efficient method of collecting digital statistics to ADs and coordinators.
  • Tracks all global digital programs, monitors progress as campaigns begin to produce statistics, and makes suggestions for improvements to hone and improve all campaigns as we see opportunities.
  • Submits timely campaign progress reports to global partnerships, AD’s, etc.
  • Assists AD’s in developing and deploying new initiatives region by region.
  • Makes recommendations to Global Partnership Operations Manager for ways to improve efficiency region by region.
  • Does continuing research to identify new platforms for digital engagement and best practices for maximum marketing efficiency.
  • Makes recommendations to Global Partnerships Operations Manager for any continuing education related to role that would benefit the team.
  • Works collaboratively with ADs to understand cultural divides and how to overcome hesitations around digital implementation.
  • Provides technical assistance to ADs and coordinators in setting up new campaigns, administering their own social pages, collecting statistics, and maximizing advertising money spent.
  • Provides technical recommendations to the Global Partnerships Operations Manager for purchases related to hardware and software for all team members that might maximize digital efforts.
  • Understands the Bible Brain API documentation well enough to assist developers in finding and understanding the information within the API support page (1st-tier support).
  • Interacts with Bible Brain technology team to make them aware of common questions or difficulties (towards improving the documentation or API itself.), bringing difficult questions to their attention (2nd-tier support), and staying up-to-date with API release features and fixes.
  • Monitors and reports on API usage analytics dashboard.
  • Administers request for API keys (reviews request, granting, investigating, and denying as appropriate.)
  • Promotes Bible Brain in appropriate forums, towards increasing the number of developers using it to get God’s Word to every person.

 

 

Qualifications include:

Required:

  1. Minimum of one-year work experience
  2. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  3. Cross cultural work experience and willing to continue learning about cultural differences and how to overcome them
  4. Willing to use social platforms like WhatsApp, Facebook, TikTok, and any other social platform that has potential for proclaiming the Word of God. Employee MAY object to using any platform that they feel is dangerous or unwise, but must remain open to any platform that could be used for the proclamation of the Gospel
  5. Must maintain a creative and open mind for all things digital
  6. Must maintain a “try it” mindset over a “prove it” mindset
  7. Must maintain a working knowledge of all platforms being used for FCBH digital expression
  8. Must be able to handle large volumes of complex information and be able to break that information down into digestible reportable bites
  9. Must maintain high flexibility with ever changing technology as well as impeccable patience with those just learning the resources
  10. BA/BS degree or equivalent in any area of study
