We are seeking a Logistics Program Manager to join our team in Washington, DC. The ideal candidate will:

  • Manage a team in performing all aspects of logistics support planning and execution.
  • Perform Integrated Logistics Support activities including maintenance planning and test equipment, technical documentation, supply support, computer resources, facilities, manpower and personnel, packaging/handling/transportation and training.
  • Reinforce guidance and direction for specific projects or sub-tasks Interface with the client and stakeholders on project specific issues and objectives.
  • Prepare standardized documents, policies, and procedures such as draft FMS Internal Program Directives (IPD) and draft FMS Instructions.
  • Perform routine updating of FMS Management Information System (MIS) files such as the Correspondence Tracking System, data validation, and the periodic extraction of standard reports from those data files.
  • Gather, analyze, and provide data from a variety of sources in preparation for reviews and meetings.
  • Attend programmatic meetings that are not identifiable to a specific FMS case, such as Building Partner Capacity (BPC) cases and pre-case support.
  • Provide Project Management expertise and experience across multiple functional areas.
 
Position Requirements

Required Education, Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution within a similar field is preferred.
  • Nine (9) years experience is required, including three (3) years experience in Navy Project Management involving all aspects of the Logistics Support Planning and Execution on surface combatant programs.
  • Six (6) years experience in logistics planning and execution activities supporting a surface combatant program/project office (i.e., NAVSEA, NSWC, planning yards, etc.) is required, to include at least one (1) year of experience in four or more of the following ILS elements: maintenance planning and test equipment, technical documentation, supply support, computer resources, facilities, manpower and personnel, packaging/handling/transportation and training.
  • Foreign Military Sales (FMS) experience is required. 
  • U.S. Citizenship required.
  • An active Secret security clearance.
