Position requirements:
Fluency in American Sign Language, knowledgeable of Deaf Culture and communication barriers.
Knowledgeable about children’s mental health issues and CTSS services to support children and families. Inservice training will be provided re CTSS service delivery at job start and in ongoing supervision.
Effective rapport building and therapeutic engagement skills with children, adolescents, and their families
Adaptable, organized, works well independently, and effectively collaborates with TSA colleagues.
Bachelor's degree in one of the behavioral sciences or related fields and 2,000 hours of supervised experience in the delivery of clinical services in the treatment of mental illness or children with emotional disturbances
Bachelor's degree in one of the behavioral sciences or related fields and completed a practicum or internship with direct interaction with adults or children served and was focused on behavioral sciences or related fields
Ability to work with diverse populations
Effective communication skills
Demonstrate mentally stability and model appropriate boundaries
Timely and accurate submission of documentation of services and other documents as required
Must possess a valid Driver’s License and have reliable transportation and auto Insurance and be willing to travel within the Northwest Region of MN.
Preference given to master’s degree level individual who is pursuing licensure (for LICSW, LMFT, LPCC).
Preference given to Individual working to complete a master’s degree in one of the behavioral sciences or related fields and who may be looking for an internship or work experience.
