Description

Intake, Recruitment, Training and Licensing Specialist needed for full-time, temp to perm position in Philadelphia County. This position will work Monday-Friday, 8:30a-5:00p.

Establish and implement procedures for licensing and re-certifying foster parents. Increase foster homes located through the Philadelphia and surrounding counties by strategic recruitment and community networking. Receive, process, evaluate, and license traditional foster care and CUA kinship licensing referrals and fully train and license prior to initial certification deadline monthly.

Work in collaboration with other recruiter/trainers to develop a cadre of appropriately trained and licensed foster parents. Oversee the development and maintenance of foster parent records in accordance with quality assurance standards. Ensure that preservice training and initial certification processes meet the requirements of the child placement license. Assist with recruiting, training and licensing treatment, specialized behavioral health & general foster parents as appropriate.

Assist and partner with Intake team during all foster parent recruitment and office events. Assist with new foster home development. Assist with the coordination and conduct of pre-service, in-services training and support activities for foster parents. Train, facilitate and support or host foster parent in-service trainings with one (1) identified foster care or RHC staff as scheduled. Enter and maintain accurate data into the ETO system daily. Other duties assigned.

 
Position Requirements

BSW with a minimum five (5) years progressively responsible experience working with children, youth and families in human service setting. Bilingual in English/Spanish. Minimum two (2) years supervisory experience. Strong communication and interpersonal skills desired. Demonstrated ability to successfully interact with people from diverse backgrounds and varying levels of responsibility. Demonstrated ability to work with a high degree of discretion, personal initiative and autonomy. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills a must. Experience in human services training. Experience utilizing MS Office Suite and databases.
