The Company

Safe Streets USA is an engaging, fun, and challenging workplace. We are the only ADT Authorized Provider for home security. The IT department has a great team dynamic. Job Description

The Technical Support Specialist position will assist and resolve tickets in a timely manner while being able to interact with requesters through voice, email, or chat. This will require being able to diagnose and repair faults, network issues, installing and configuring software and hardware.

 
Position Requirements

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Update tickets to ensure proper time tracking, documentation and closure.
  • Walk SafeStreets USA employees through problem solving process, follow up with feedback and see problems through to resolution.
  • Configure, deploy, maintain, troubleshoot and support computer workstations, laptops, printers, mobile devices, phones, computers, and telecommunications equipment.
  • Supporting employees both in office and remote locations.
  • Act as the initial point of contact for all computer and system related concerns from employees
  • Document, track, and monitor problems using applicable systems and tools.
  • Able to travel to other office locations as needed.
  • Rotating on-call schedule participation required.

Qualifications and Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2-4 years in an IT support role.
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
  • Proven experience of configuring, deploying, maintaining, troubleshooting and supporting computer workstations, laptops, printers, mobile devices, phones, computer and telecommunications equipment.
  • Experience with repair and troubleshooting of hardware and software for PCs, laptops, printers and scanners.
