A Design Specialist produces visual solutions to enhance the communication needs of customers, through a mix of creative skills and technology.

Who you are:
As a Print Design Specialist at PFL, you will help our customers stand out and drive results.
Some of the things you will be doing for us:
Interpret customers business needs and develop concepts to suit their purpose
Estimating time required to complete work and provide quotes for CA Teams
Work with a wide range of media -Quark, Illustrator, Acrobat, InDesign, or Photoshop to produce varying complexity of pieces from business card to multi-page catalogs
Proofread to ensure accurate high-quality work
Present and finalize ideas and concepts to customers and internal sales teams
Timely and responsive customer communications
Seek out and take advantage of opportunities to create remarkable customer interactions
Identify and report opportunities for process improvements
Keep abreast of emerging technologies particularly design programs
Consult with customers to revise their existing designs
Work proactively to identify and improve upon personal weaknesses
Assist customers with typesetting, page layout and other prepress related activities
Ability to thinking creatively and produce new ideas
Sets high “stretch” standards of performance for self
Demonstrates sound judgment, critical and creative thinking skills
Understands and explains lithography and digital prepress concepts and capabilities
