PC&L Manager 

Description

Insure employees adhere to all department and plant safety protocols.

Meet plant inventory goals, maintain accurate inventories, and complete planned cycle counts

Insure the proper parts are available to meet the production plan

Insure the production plan is created to meet customer ship windows, and inventories.

Manage all outbound and inbound transportation

Support new program launches

Complete all required weekly and monthly reports

Perform internal audits

Maintain, modify, and improve departmental procedures

Manage supplier scheduling activities

Insure indirect material is available to support engineering and maintenance operations\

Monitor customer schedules and create manufacturing forecast plans

 
Position Requirements

10 years of experience in Manufacturing

Proven problem-solving and investigational skills with the ability to work in a cross functional environment\

Strong analytical skills

Experience with implementation projects through to completion

Dynamic and self-driven

Must have the ability to handle a heavy workload and be able to work under pressure while handling frequent changes in direction without losing focus

Strong organizational skills

Excellent communication (written and verbal), and presentation skills

Solid computer software skills including Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Access

Supervisory experience is a plus.

Knowledge of the requirements for materials management

Experience with the assurance of an economic and timely inventory management and storage organization

Practical knowledge in the optimization of packaging and transportation problems

 
Education Requirement HS Diploma w/ applicable experience required / Associates degree preferred
