Description

The Assistant Business Office Manager (ABOM) provides administrative support to our Billing and Business Office Manager. This role will help to support the facility business office and billing operations. Additionally, our ABOM will also interact with vendors, insurance companies, residents and families.

The hours for this position are Monday - Friday; 8:30am - 5:00pm.

Description

Assist in the day to day functions of the business office department including:

  • Completed Daily Facility Census Reporting (admits, discharges, payer changes, etc)
  • Verifying and loading all payer information in billing system
  • Consult with families and residents and explain the LTC Medicaid process in preparation for making application.
  • Manage all pending Medicaid cases for status updates and approval status
  • Responsible for the Medicaid KLOCS level of care system
  • Resident private pay balance follow up
  • Monthly invoice processing of Pharmacy, Lab, Oxygen bills, etc.
  • Communicate directly with residents and family members to address and resolve billing questions or issues.
  • Resident Trust Account Management (Deposit, Withdrawals etc)
  • Audit and Review all Admission paperwork for timely completion
  • Other duties as assigned.
 
Position Requirements
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Previous Long Term Care business office and LTC Medicaid experience required.
