CLAIR TAPPAAN LODGE is a rustic mountain lodge located at 7,000’ on historic Donner Summit in the greater Lake Tahoe Area. Guests and staff enjoy easy access to skiing and snowboarding in the winter, world-class hiking, climbing and mountain biking in the summer, and spectacular mountain views every day.
The GUEST SERVICES & GROUP COORDINATOR position is a year-round position. In Winter and Summer seasons overtime is required at times, while in the Spring and Fall extended time off is a possibility. A flexible personality and the ability to handle stressful situations with a smile is a must as exceptional guest service is paramount in our operation.
Essential Functions:
Maintains a thorough knowledge of the property, types of accommodations, rental operations, package plans, and facilities.
Group sales, booking, billing, and services contact.
Takes reservations ensuring high levels of guest service and satisfaction.
Check guests in and out, including preparation of guest bills and authorizing payments.
Responsible for cash handling including rental services, retail and reservations reporting.
Knowledge of general information concerning rates, rules and regulations, hours of operation, and any special events or activities.
Manage reservation database.
Displays a pro-active and leading role in terms of service, culture, development, team image, systems, procedures and skill development.
Ensures prompt and courteous service to all guests. Resolves guest disputes in a diplomatic consistent manner as developed by management.
Maintains proper controls for safeguarding assets, including but not limited to the rentals, retail inventory, equipment and supplies.
Maintains a professional relationship with all agencies, contractors, vendors, and customers.
Communicates efficiently and timely with management.
Adheres to the Company dress Code while on duty
At times may be required to assist other co-workers to complete tasks that may not be included within this document
Assist in training new Guest Services staff as necessary.
Exceeds the guests’ expectations whenever possible.
