The Professional Services Lead is responsible for leading a team of individuals on our Professional Services team.  The Lead will ensure efficient client centered processes are created and documented, meet with team members on a regular basis to coach them and help remove roadblocks, as well as monitor the work of the team.  While exemplifying our cultural norms, you will work closely with each of the team members to ensure they have support and guidance needed to meet and exceed team and individual goals and help ensure client implementations are successful.

What are the general responsibilities of the position?

  • Meet with team members on a regular basis to ensure they have the support and direction needed to be successful.
  • Assign work and monitor progress across the team to ensure individual and team goals are met.
  • Effectively performance manage team members by interviewing, coaching, counseling, and terminating when needed.
  • Create and revise efficient, scalable processes for the team to ensure clients have an excellent implementation experience.
  • Assist with client escalations as needed.
  • Maintain a portfolio of client projects which allows time to manage the clients and the team successfully.
  • Collaborate with other Professional Services team members as well as Support, Product and Sales to ensure client success.
  • Help team members grow professionally and gain new skills and knowledge while helping them achieve their career goals.
Position Requirements
  • 3+ years of Ascentis product experience, preferred
  • Passion for leading others
  • Experience with multiple Ascentis products, preferred
  • Ability to successfully lead a team while also contributing to the team’s output
  • Passion for continuous improvement, driving consistent iterations and optimization amongst the team
  • Proven track record of setting and managing to deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to give persuasive advice and guidance to clients leading them down a path to the best possible outcomes.
  • Enthusiasm and flexibility to thrive in a fast-paced and ever-changing work environment
  • Strong and adaptive communication skills enabling you to work with and develop strong relationships with a variety of personalities and learning styles
  • Ability to function within a defined process while still having the capacity to see the big picture and step outside the box where appropriate
  • A team player who is focused on providing an exemplary client centric experience
