Share Email Opening Title Maintenance Tech $14/hr  Description POSITION SUMMARY: Performs all general maintenance and repair functions within approved guidelines and as directed.   ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Responsible for all general maintenance and repair of minor problems of leaking fixtures; unclogging drains;throughout the Speaking Rock Entertainment Center as directed by immediate supervisor; must have knowledge in plumbing, basic construction, sheetrock repair, painting, etc. Ensures adherence to all OSHA regulations and internal safety policies and procedures. Operates company vehicles as required. Conduct preventive maintenance on all equipment as assigned. Supports other Maintenance Techs as needed. Other duties as assigned by Department Manager and/or General Manager.   KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instruction, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.  Ability to speak effectively.  Strong organizational and interpersonal skills required.   Position Requirements MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma or GED preferred and a minimum of one year of work in related field experience required. Texas driver license preferred.  Minimum of one year experience in mechanics and must be able to read blueprints. Bi-lingual English/Spanish preferred.  Must be culturally sensitive to minority population especially Native Americans; must be able to successfully pass a post-offer drug screen and criminal history background check.    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: While performing the duties of this job, the Employee is regularly required to use good manual and finger dexterity, handle, or feel objects, reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk, climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to sit.   The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
